2 Cups maida or All purpose flour
1 tbsp Instant Yeast (You can use
1/2 tbsp baking soda and 1/2 tbsp lemon juice, if you do not have instant yeast)
1/2 tbsp Sugar
1 tbsp vegetable oil
Salt to taste
Vegan Pizza Dough Recipe
If you are using yeast, see below to Activate Yeast
First in a small bowl add the below ingredients and let them sit for 5 minutes. This so that the yeast can be activated.
- add 1 tbsp of yeast
- 1/2 tbsp sugar
- 2 tbsps of water
If you are not using yeast
In a small bowl mix below ingredients and set them aside for 5 minutes
- 1/2 tbsp of Baking soda/Meetha soda
- 1/2 tbsp of lemon juice/extract.
How to Make Dough
Take a large bowl and mix below ingredients
- 2 Cups Maida or all purpose flour
- 1/2 tbsp salt/salt to taste
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil/olive oil
To the above, add your instant yeast or baking soda mixture, depending on which one you are using.
Knead the dough for 10 – 15 minutes or until it stops sticking to your hand. You can see how to knead in our Youtube Video below
Once Kneaded, put the dough in an air tight container. Make sure you dab oil onto the container before putting in the dough.
Let it sit in room temperature for 60 minutes, before putting it into the refrigerator.
You dough should be ready to use in about 90 minutes.

You can use this dough to make Garlic bread, Samosas, Pita Bread, Doughnuts, other flats breads, patties, puffs and dimsums
