How your body changes after you turn Vegan

What happens after you turn Vegan?

Its day 75 of me turning Vegan and oh boy! it’s been a blessing.

From a hard core non vegetarian, who ate meat almost every day and dairy products(Yogurt, Curd, Paneer etc) at least 3 times a day to being Vegan and consuming only non dairy products.

I also try and eat as natural as possible, which means I avoid processed food as much as I can.

Here are the top 5 things that changed for me after I turned Vegan!

1. No more acidity

Can you believe that? I couldn’t either, until I actually went 4 weeks without having acidity. After 4 weeks of not farting as frequently or having a bloated stomach, I can say with confidence that turning Vegan is literally the best thing I have ever done in my life

2. Better Energy Levels

Yep, it’s true. Your energy levels will go through the roof. I stopped working out in 2014 and since then repeatedly tried to begin some form of workout, even if it was just a stroll around the local park, but I always failed.

Since turning Vegan I have been swimming everyday, I don’t even take weekends off! That’s how energetic I am.

3. Reduced to No Anger

Imagine that! I would get irritated over every single thing! Yes, everything my mom said or my sister did or tried to do was so annoying. I would lash out at people for no reason. I was cribbing at Auto waalas and taxi drivers, everyone around me was just pissing me off!

Since turning Vegan, I greet everyone with a smile, there is no hate or anger inside me. I take everything with a grain of salt. I am no longer annoyed or don’t feel like I’ve woken up from the wrong side of the bed

4. Weight Loss

This is the biggest thing that could ever happen to me!! Since turning Vegan, I have lost about 3 kgs in 2 months. Yes, all that meat I am not eating and all that Paneer, its paid off!

5. Improved Digestion

A plant based diet gives you all the minerals and nutrients you need, especially if you eat them raw. The moment you cook you veggies, they lose their tendency of nutrition and providing minerals to your body.

Eating lots of raw salads and veggies helps me get all the minerals my body needs and hence has had an impact on my digestive system.

My advice to everyone who deals with anger issues or weight loss issues or even just discontentment in general, TURN VEGAN!! It’s the best thing that could ever happen to you
